ASSISTED STRETCHING


Assisted stretching involves a therapist guiding and supporting your body through various stretches. Unlike regular stretching, where you do it yourself, assisted stretching allows for deeper and more controlled movements, helping to improve flexibility, increase range of motion, and reduce muscle tightness. The therapist helps ensure the stretches are done safely and effectively, targeting specific muscle groups for better performance and injury prevention.

Myofascial Sports Massage

Sports massage isn’t just for athletes. Even if you’re not actively involved in sports, sports massage techniques can provide significant benefits. It addresses muscle tension, improves flexibility, and promotes relaxation and well-being. Benefits for non-active people include pain relief from chronic aches and stiffness, improved posture, stress reduction, and increased overall mobility and relaxation. The techniques used are adaptable to various fitness levels and needs.

Clinical Dry Cupping

Clinical dry cupping involves placing special cups on the skin to create suction. This technique pulls the skin and underlying tissue into the cup, increasing blood circulation, loosening muscles, and relieving tension. Unlike traditional cupping, which may use heat or wet techniques, dry cupping focuses purely on suction. It’s used to relieve muscle tightness, reduce inflammation, and promote healing in injured or strained areas.

IASTM (Instrument Assisted soft tissue mobilization)

IASTM is a technique that uses specialized tools to help break down scar tissue and adhesions in the muscles and fascia. The therapist gently scrapes the tool over the skin, targeting areas of tightness or restriction. This method helps increase blood flow, improve range of motion, and promote faster healing. IASTM is particularly effective for treating soft tissue injuries, chronic pain, and muscle imbalances.

Sylvester - Trusted Sports Massage Therapist in Singapore

I’m the Founder & Principal Sports Massage Therapist / Bodyworker of Total Stretch Clinic. I’ve been in this profession since 2016 and I’m passionate about helping people move and feel better through targeted care.


Being one of the first in Singapore to undergo training with the master trainer from Dr Stretch Japan, where I learned the Core Balance Stretch technique. This method, originally developed for professional athletes, has been key in shaping my approach to therapy. Over the years, I’ve expanded my expertise with advanced techniques like IASTM, Dry Cupping Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Joint Manipulations and more. 


One of the highlights of my career was working with the Young Lions Football Club, Singapore’s U-23 national football team, providing stretching and massage therapy to enhance their performance during competition.
